Name and brand
Creation of the name, the logo and the usage guidelines.
Name, brand, platform, website, printed materials and space decoration, in a project built from scratch.
The Adabel project was built from scratch, on six fronts: name, brand, platform, web development, printed materials and space decoration.
When everything is new at once, the risk isn't in any single piece, it's in the distance between them. It's easy to end up with a brand that works well on paper and a system that doesn't respect it, or with a physical space that looks like it belongs to another company. The job was to make sure the decisions made at the start arrived intact at the last piece.
The name and brand came first and set the rules. The platform and web development were built on those rules, which avoids the usual gymnastics of fitting an identity onto a system that already exists.
The two images left from the project show the ends of that chain: the business card and the website. They're opposite in nature — one is printed once, the other changes every month — and that's exactly why they prove the brand holds up at both extremes. The printed materials and space decoration completed the application.
