SEO and SEM: found by the people already looking

Appearing in search engines through organic work and paid advertising, with results measured to the penny.

Who SEO and SEM are for

SEO and SEM answer the same question by different routes: how your business shows up to whoever is searching, right now, for what you sell. SEO is the work of earning organic results, which cost nothing but take time to win. SEM is paid campaigns, which appear the day they're switched on and stop appearing the day the spend is cut.

Neither replaces the other. Advertise only, and you depend on a tap someone else can turn off; go organic only, and you have no way to accelerate when you need to. That's why this service treats the two together, with the same set of keywords and the same measurement.

SEO work rests on a well-built website and on content written to answer, produced with copywriting.

Problems this service solves

The most common reasons people come to us.

Only people who already know you show up

The site gets visits from people searching for the company's name, not from people searching for the service it provides.

The competition shows up first

In the searches that matter, the businesses at the top are sometimes smaller, just better prepared.

Adverts that spend without paying off

The campaigns have been running for months, the budget goes out every day, and nobody knows what enquiries came from them.

Content that doesn't answer anything

The pages talk about the company, not about what people actually type into the search engine.

Invisible on the local map

The business serves a region and doesn't show up in the searches or the map of people looking nearby.

Ranking first for a term nobody searches for is ranking nowhere at all.

How we work

First understand what people search for, then get the house in order, only then spend.

Keyword research

We find out what people actually type when they search for what you sell, with what intent and against what competition. We separate what's worth competing for organically from what only pays off through advertising.

Technical and content audit

We check speed, structure, titles, descriptions, URLs, indexing and duplicate content. Many of the early gains come from fixing what's wrong, not from writing more.

Organic work

We fix the technical base, reorganise the pages by topic, write what's missing, and handle internal links and local presence on the relevant maps and directories.

Ad campaigns

We structure campaigns by intent, with copy of their own and suitable landing pages, often a page built specifically for the purpose, with a controlled daily budget.

Measurement and adjustment

We set up conversion tracking before spending the first euro, and adjust based on the numbers: what converts grows, what doesn't gets cut.

What you get

Work done on the site, campaigns running, and numbers you can actually read.

Keyword plan

A list worked through by intent and priority, marking what's organic and what's paid.

Fixes applied to the site

Titles, descriptions, structure, speed and structured data, done, not just recommended.

New content

Pages and articles written to answer the searches identified, in the volume agreed.

Campaigns set up

Accounts in your company's name, with structure, copy, audiences and budgets defined.

Conversion tracking

Goals recorded, with cookie consent, so you know which enquiries came from where.

Regular report

How rankings, traffic and enquiries have moved, with a read on what to do next.

Common questions about SEO and SEM

The questions that always come up in the first meetings.

Do you guarantee first place on Google?

No, and be wary of anyone who does. Position in the organic results is decided by an algorithm we don't control, one that changes several times a year. What we do guarantee is the work getting done, measured and explained, with progress tracked over time.

How long does it take to see results from SEO?

Technical fixes can show up within weeks; winning positions in competitive searches is a matter of months, and it builds up over time. That's precisely why SEM usually runs alongside it: it delivers traffic while the organic side matures.

Who does the ad spend get paid to?

Directly to the platforms, with the card and the account in your company's name. The agency's work is invoiced separately. That way you see exactly how much went into advertising and how much the management cost.

Does this make sense for a local business?

It does, and it's often where the return shows up fastest. Competition is lower at the scale of a city or a region, and a well-kept business listing on the maps, with reviews, counts for as much as the website itself.

Do you need access to my website?

We do, because most of SEO is work done inside the site itself. If that's not possible, we hand over the fixes documented for whoever manages the site to apply, but the process is slower that way.
