Website and online shop with intuitive menus and a buying journey built to be quick.
The XIPA STORE project rests on the web development of the company's website, with the online shop service included. The brief was clear: a high-impact website that reflected the owner's high-competition spirit.
It's a harder requirement than it sounds. A website chasing impact tends to get heavy and get in the way of buying; a shop that only cares about buying tends to end up anonymous. It needed both things at once, built on a catalogue the company has to be able to manage on its own.
We treated the shop as part of the website rather than as an add-on: the same language, the same rhythm, without that jolt you feel moving from presentation to basket. We worked mainly on the menus, because that's where a shop either loses or finds its visitors.
The result is a complete website, with intuitive menus that give visitors a pleasant buying experience. The catalogue, buying process and order management were built on the same web development foundation, so the company has just one place to manage.
A website and a shop on the same foundation, so the company has a single system to manage and just one place to update the catalogue.
