The brief
Credimax set Contágio an unusual brief: take on the development of all of its web platforms. This wasn't a website or a single tool, it was the whole set — the public website, the credit calculators, the internal management system, the links to other systems and the management of the servers everything runs on.
Credit brokerage has a process of its own, with stages, documents and deadlines that no off-the-shelf program tracks well. And, as the network grows branch by branch, there was a second requirement: each branch had to work independently without management stopping being centralised.
The approach
Rather than adapting a tool that already existed, we built the CRM from scratch, with modules designed for credit brokerage. That way the system follows the business's real process, not the other way round. The calculators were built on the same rules, so the calculation made on the website and the case opened at the branch speak the same language.
The integrations connect the various pieces to each other and to the external systems the network works with, so information only has to be entered once. Server management stayed on our side too, which shortens the path between spotting a problem and fixing it.

The project had no end date: it grows with the network.

APIs between the platforms and with external systems, plus management of the servers everything runs on.
Ongoing support
Contágio provides the support and follows the network's growth, with branches in Aveiro, Feira, Porto, Coimbra and Viseu.
