Professional services: brand, website and management platforms

Selling trust when there is no product to show

Accountants, consultants, credit brokers, technical practices and service firms are always selling the same thing: the assurance that the matter will be handled properly. There is no product to photograph and no window to dress. What there is, is how the company presents itself, how clearly it explains what it does, and how easy it is to get to a first conversation.

It is also the sector where the work most often goes beyond communication. Practices with several people, or networks with several branches, end up needing tools of their own: a calculator so the client understands what they are asking for, a central record of contacts, connections between programs that do not talk to each other. That is half the work we do in this field.

What usually costs you clients

The most common reasons people come to us.

The website could belong to any competitor

Generic text about rigour and personal attention, with nothing that sets the practice apart from the one next door. Anyone comparing finds no basis for a choice.

It is not clear what is included

Services are listed by name only, without saying what they cover or which kind of company they suit. The first meeting gets spent explaining what the website should have explained.

The systems do not talk to each other

The website, the invoicing software and the management platform each need the same information typed in separately, with all the errors that brings.

Several branches, one brand with several faces

In networks with branches or agents, each one communicates in its own way, and the client does not recognise the same company from one place to the next.

What we usually do in this sector

From the identity of a single practice to the platform that holds a whole network together.

Brand and professional identity

Name, logo and visual system applied to the essentials of this sector: proposals, reports, email signatures and presentations. That was the case with VAZ – Contabilistas.

A website with the services explained

One page per service, with what is included, who it suits and how to start. It is what separates a qualified enquiry from a phone call asking about prices.

Calculators and estimators

Tools that let the visitor work out the numbers on their own and come into the conversation with an idea already formed. That is what we built for Credimax.

Management platforms and CRM

A single place for contacts, processes and history, with access by person or by branch and centralised management.

Integrations between systems

Connecting the website, the invoicing software and the internal platform so information moves without being copied by hand.

Documents and stationery

Templates for proposals, reports, folder covers and letterhead, so that everything leaving the practice looks like the company.

Services most requested by professional service firms

Each page explains the process, the deliverables and the most common questions.

Projects in this sector

Credimax is a credit-broking network for which we took on development of the web platforms: website, calculators, an in-house CRM with modules built for the sector, integrations and server management; with the CRM, the branches started working collaboratively under centralised management, and we continue to provide support. VAZ – Contabilistas and Contas Direitas are brand, communication and web projects for accountancy practices. See the portfolio.

Frequently asked questions about professional services

The questions that reach us most often in this field.

Does a bespoke platform make sense, or is off-the-shelf software enough?

When your process is the same as everyone else's, existing software is cheaper and faster. When the process is your competitive edge, or when no existing software covers what you need, it is worth building. We tell you which case you are in before quoting.

Can you connect the website to the software we already use?

If the software offers a connection, yes. We start by checking with the supplier what exists and what is allowed, and only then do we quote for the integration, so we never promise what the other system will not let us do.

Doesn't a calculator put off people who wanted to talk to us?

The opposite usually happens: it puts off people who were never going ahead, and brings you better-prepared enquiries from those who are. The calculator gives an estimate and points them to your contact details, leaving the decision for the conversation.

Can we publish client case studies?

Only with permission, and with whatever care professional confidentiality in your field requires. When a client cannot be named, a case can still be described by the problem and the solution, without saying who it was.

Does your practice need more than a website?

Tell us how you work today, what software you use and where time gets lost. You will get a proposal with scope, phases and price, from the brand to the platform.

Book a meeting

Tell us when suits you and we will come back with a confirmation. It is not an automatic booking: a person always confirms the meeting.
